The WOCCN, is an experienced Wound Care Nurse who is available for consultation for wound, fistula, ostomy and continence issues. The WOCCN provides educational support to the staff through in-services, skills lab training sessions and protocol and team development. Data is analyzed and quality improvement plans are developed. The WOCCN acts as a liaison between the staff and ordering physicians.
